Joan Pillera
(lead vocals, backup vocals) started her music career early, singing
with her family (her mom on piano, her dad on guitar, and her two sisters) at
church events in southern Minnesota. Her first live performance in a
rock group was in 1984 on a Rochester Mn. telethon! Joan joined the band Jagged
Edge in 1985, which eventually became Frenzy. Her vocal style
and abilities have proven to be a major asset, and have contributed greatly to
the success and popularity of the band.
Ted Pillera
(lead guitar, music programming, lead and backup vocals) started out in
1967 with a mail-order guitar and a borrowed Gibson amp, launching his career
with a $15 engagement. Fortunately, the money has improved over the years! Ted
formed the basis of Frenzy in 1984 in Rochester Mn.. He creates the
musical foundation for the band through his guitarwork, and by creating the
background effects, keyboards, and electronic percussion that supplement Frenzy's
studio-like sound.
Terry DeBates
(percussion, lead vocals) has been playing professionally in various
rock acts since the early 70's. Terry has performed for several years in Twin
Cities area bands. He joined Frenzy in May of 1997. Terry's drumming
style and abilities gain him recognition and praise from audiences everywhere!
